New York Central Other Articulated Locomotives

Class NU-1a/c/e (Locobase 5584)

Data from the 1930 guide to Dimensions and Classifications of Locomotives seen on http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/nyc/nyc-lb30.html (May 2003). These were among the very few articulated locomotives operated on the New York Central lines. This particular design worked as hump yard pushers; similar engines operated on the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie (2) and Michigan Central (2).
