Copper Range Railroad 2-8-0 "Consolidation" Type Locomotives

Class C-3S (Locobase 4842)

The CRRR ran in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and these were the "Big Boys" of the railroad, according to Kevin E. Musser of the Copper Range website. These ran for 30 years after which they were sold for scrap. Musser gives a much higher tractive effort of 42,700 lb, but his basic numbers are as given in the specifications.
