Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Volume 51, p. 291. See Locobase 13508 for a brief history of the QA & P. Works number was 42200 in July 1915.

As the Quanah Route developed its cross-Texas traffic, a Consolidation was an inevitable addition to any such aspiring line. Like the earlier Baldwin Ten-wheelers shown in Locobase 13508, this was a mid-sized example at best with a relatively modest amount of superheat.

(The Quanah Route would later operate an undeliverable Russian decapod as their 1628.)
