Data from "German Locomotive Works", The Locomotive Magazine, Vol VIII (7 March 1903), p. 168
Named for the river that flowed through the area, this locomotive was works number 74 in the Hannover books. Its profile included a tall stack, tall dome with safety valve just behind the stack and over the carrying axle, straight boiler with raised firebox, outside cylinders, and closely spaced drivers ahead of the firebox.
