Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Vol 29, p. 62. Works number was 27923 in April 1906..

The specs called for this Mogul to scale 3% grades and negotiate 18-deg curves on the 8 miles of this small logging railroad.

After the Hobart Southern was abandoned in December 1937, the 6 was sold.
