Maryland & Pennsylvania 2-6-0 "Mogul" Type Locomotives

Class 2 (Locobase 6022)

Locomotive data from George W. Fitch, Jr.'s compilation (Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad Preservation and Historical Society photocopy reprint, 2004).

A month after the Ma & Pa's #1 4-4-0 arrived came this Mogul (Baldwin works #14408 and class 8-26-C-157). If #1 was mixed-traffic, the road's solitary 2-6-0 was all freight. Boiler pressure was later reduced to 155 psi. #2 carried on for more than 30 years before being sold to the Boston Iron & Metal Company on 30 September 1927.
