Palestine

T&P 610 was restored by The 610 Historical Foundation of Fort Worth, Texas in 1976 for use as one of the locomotives that would pull the American Freedom Train. It was later leased to The Southern Railway for Excursion Service. Today 610 is displayed at the Texas State Railroad in Palestine.

Baytown

T&NO 895 was built by ALCO in 1913. It was used in freight service on Texas & Louisiana Lines. 895 was donated in March, 1957 to Key Club, Robert E. Lee senior High School and City of Baytown by the Southern Pacific. It was refurbished in 1993. Notice the high boilder and firebox above the drivers.
