Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 2cs (Locobase 11217)

Data provided by diagram supplied at the [] site, last accessed 17 April 2010. Beyer, Peacock works numbers were 3036-3045 and 3932-3937 in 1889, 4418-4427 in 1903.

This class was supplied by Beyer, Peacock and North British Locomotive Company between 1899 and 1910.

NB: Tube length is an estimate based on the calculation of tube surface area by subtracting reported firebox heating surface from reported total evaporative heating surface

Class 78 (Locobase 3726)

Data from "Argentine Great Western Railway Type 2.6.0", Locomotives Constructed by Kitson & Co, Limited (n.d.). Kitson works numbers were 4052-4061 in 1900 and 4112-4118 in 1902. Beyer Peacock works numbers 4418-4427 in 1902.

These were mixed-traffic simple-expansion engines
