Buenos Aires Pacific 2-6-2 Locomotives in Argentina

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 911 (Locobase 21002)

Data from "Buenos Ayres and Pacific Type 2-6-2T", Locomotives Constructed by Kitson & Co. Limited (Leeds, UK: n.d).Works numbers were 4625-4639 in 1909.

High boiler pressure and small drivers gave this Prairie tank design significant power. But the very low factor of adhesion suggests that the actual boiler setting and cutoff combined to deliver a good deal less.
