North Central 2-8-0 Locomotives in Argentina

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class Pasage (Locobase 3662)

Data provided by Carlos Alberto Fern+ndez Priotti in Bryan Attewell ([link] Steam Locomotive simulator program (April 2000). See also DeGolyer, Volume 11, p. 207. Works numbers were 6835-6838, 6846-6847, 6856-6857, 6861, 6866 in July 1883.

Locobase bases the attribution on Gene Connelly's Baldwin production database and a match between Fernandez's data and that of the only set of locomotives I could find in the Baldwin specifications.

The class had names when they first arrived. In addition to Pasage, they were Bermejo, Aconquija, Calchaqui, Puna, Yavi, Guachipas, and Lerma.
