Data from "Six-Coupled Bogie Engine for Western Australia" The Locomotive & Railway Carriage & Wagon Review, Vol III (September 1898), p. 138 and Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Volume 20, p. 269. Works number 15434 in September 1897.
This is one of the earliest Pacifics and one that clearly was not designed for express passenger work. Indeed, the wheel arrangement may have been adopted more to spread out the weight than support a large firebox. On the other hand, Jubilee's large boiler dwarfed the running gear and nearly put the oversized cab into proper perspective.
