Class BK 1 / 36 (Locobase 4617)

Data from [link], last accessed 27 August 2006.

Data on origins from Josef Pospichal's Lokstatistic site -- [link], last accessed 1 August 2006. The latter site shows that Sigl built the first 14 in 1872 (works# 1407-1420).

As delivered, the boilers had 156 tubes with a total heating surface area measuring 103 sq m (1,108 sq ft), and a firebox with a grate area of 1.78 sq m (19.15 sq ft) and total direct heating surface of 8 sq m (86.08 sq ft) . In 1891, the railway replaced those boilers with ones whose dimensions are shown in the specs .

By 1905's reclassification, the class had been whittled down to 11 (36.01-04, 06-08, 11-14). EPPK 23 was the last to retire as part of the CSD in 1927.
