Class 301/IIIa5/JDZ 185 (Locobase 21014)

Some data from Lokomotive uzanog kolosijeka - Direkcija Sarajevo, 1923, p. 5, archived by Srecko Ignjatovic at [link], last accessed 27 December 2021 Krauss Linz works numbers were 4216-4220, 4366-4368 (road 301-305, 309-311) in 1900; 4487.4492, 4632-4635 (road numbers 326-335) in 1901 Weitzer Janos in Arad produced works numbers 83-85, 86-87. 91- 100 (road numbers 306-308, 312-323) in 1900; 109-110, 103-108, 111-112 (336-341, 342-343) in 1901.

These cross-compounds and the 801s delivered in the same year (Locobase 21013) were the last Klose-type semi-articulated locomotives supplied to the BH. See Locobase 635 for a full description of the design. The two classes comprised about 60% of the 99 such engines.

Class 801/IIIa5/JDZ 186 (Locobase 21013)

Some data from File:Narrow-Gauge-Railway Bosnia-and-Herzegovina Locomotive KrLi-4651-1901 BHStB-802 JDZ-186-002.jpg", reproduced in Wikimedia at [link], last accessed 21 April 2022; and Lokomotive uzanog kolosijeka - Direkcija Sarajevo, 1923, p. 6, archived by Srecko Ignjatovic at [link], last accessed 27 December 2021. Krauss Linz works numbers were 4650-4655 in 1901, 4656 in 1901. MAVAG works numbers were 1760-1763 in 1904.

Both these and the 301s delivered in the same year (Locobase 21014)were cross-compound, semi-articulated Klose-system engines (see Locobase 635). This smaller batch saw increases in cylinder volume, boiler and firebox heating suface areas, and grate areas.
