Usina Pedroza 0-6-0 Locomotives in Brazil

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class unknown (Locobase 15168)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Volume 66, pp. 336+. Works number was 52230 in August 1919.

Tiny wood-burning tank was identical to the one shipped a few months later to the Agricola (Locobase 15134) except that it had rectangular side tanks. It was sold to the Herdeiros de Arthur Siqueira Cavalcanti for use on their sugar plantation just south of Recife.

The buyers were the heirs to Arthur Siqueira, who died in 1918 at age 54. He must have taught them well because the family ran the mill from 1918 to 1965.
