Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 1 (Locobase 13865)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University, Volume 39, pp. 235. Works number was 36302 in March 1911.

The Marica bought this little six-wheeler to meets specs that included 50-lb/yard (25-kg/metre) rail on a line that had a ruling grade of 3% and curves with radii of as low as 197 feet (60 m).

Decades later in 1943, the Central do Brasil renumbered the pair 1047, 1046.
