Class Rocaina (Locobase 13274)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Vol 31, p. 205. Works number was 32693 in February 1908.

Described as a plantation engine, this locomotive burned both wood and coal. Its specs included the requirement to haul 65 long tons of trailing load up a 3% grade. ("This guarantee," said the specs, "based on frictional resistance, not exceeding 8 lbs. per ton of 2240 lbs.")
