Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 9 (Locobase 11831)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Methodist University Volume 12, p. 119 and Volume 17, p. 5. Works numbers were 7482 in October 1884 and 11832-11833 in April 1891.

One has to conclude that this little tank design had some special qualities as far as the PA&U was concerned. The second and third were ordered seven years after the first.
