Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Volume 66, pp. 296. Works number was 51772 in May 1919.
This wood-burning sugar plantation double-ended saddle tank was originally ordered as a younger sister to the Agricola de Santa Barbara's 1913 engine #1 (Locobase 13984). It was redirected to the S de C on 24 April 1919. The Conceicao was a Campos-based sugar mill in Rio De Janeiro State owned by Victor Sence and his partner Senhor Nogueira.
The engine bore a Radley & Hunter diamond spark-arresting stack.
