Data from DeGolyer, Volume 66, pp. 347+. Works number was 54550 in February 1922.
This small Prairie tank served a mining company rail that conveyed coal from the deposits along the Arroio dos Ratos to the port of Charqueadas, itself very near the southern port of Porto Alegre in Rio Grande do Sul State. Ruling grade was 3%. Although a coal burner, the 9 had a Rushton Improved spark-arresting cabbage stack.
