See Locobase 15397 for a description of this design. These and two others shown in Locobse 15398 were built as part of a large order of locomotives for the Sao Paulo Rio Grande. Locobase has found little about the owners and knows only that the railway had maximum grades of 3% and relatively gentle curve radii of 80 metres. They later served the Mogyana.
