Teemu Koivumaki wrote Locobase "Originally. this type [was] built [for] the Madrid a Aragon 101-106 in 1915, but never delivered and [were] stored in the works of Haine st Pierre." They lingered on the fast track for years before new buyers apeared. According to Koivumaki, Four of of the six were sold to Brazil with three heading passenger service on the RSM..

Straight-back ("Crampton") boiler with Kylchap stack and nozzle in the smokebox.

Another was sold to Ethiopia (Locobase 9974).
