Data from 1946 Beyer, Peacock catalogue hosted on Martyn Bane's website at [link] (accessed 21 May 2006); and "Suburban Tank Class As", Burma Railway Locomotive Diagrams supplied in May 2020 by Allen Stanley from his extensive Rail Data Exchange collection. Builders numbers were 5922-5929.

Slender-barrelled double-ender with a Belpaire firebox behind the side tanks. The firebox rode between the last two driving axles.
