Chilean State 2-6-2 Locomotives in Chile

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class unknown (Locobase 10755)

Data from Charles King, "The Chilian [sic] State Railways," The Railway Magazine (March 1908), pp. 209-214; see also the introductory article in the same journal at February 1908, pp.143-150 . First date is an estimate.

This class used the same boilers, pony trucks, cylinders, motion, drivers, and axle-boxes as the metre-gauge 2-6-0 shown in Locobase 10753 in a design intended for local traffic on the Coquimbo Rivadivia line.
