Class 5 (Locobase 15285)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Vol 72, p. 262+ and Vol 79, pp. 437+. Works numbers were 57556 in December 1923 and 60656 in October 1928.

Locobase can't find out anything about this iron-ore company, but the specs show that its rail line was lightly built at 45 lb/yard (22.5 kg/metres). Grades had a relatively modest maximum inclination of 2 1/2% and curves arched around at 22 degrees (radii of 260 feet/79.2 metres).
