Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class C (Locobase 2664)

Data from "Locomotive for Imperial Chinese Railways," The Railroad Gazette, Vol XLI, No 4 (27 July 1906), pp. 81-82.

Among the variety of wheel arrangements that went into service at the same time on the Shanghai-Nanking this was the express passenger engine. Other than the much taller drivers, it shared the same Belpaire boiler, cylinders, and valve motion with the tank engine (Locobase 2662) and the 4-6-0 freight locomotives (Locobase 2663)
