Data from "'Mogul' Locomotive for South America", The Locomotive Magazine, Vol IX (26 December 1903), p. 371.
The BR & PC was an 18-mile railway between Barranquilla and Puerto Colombia that had sharp curves (230-ft radius) and steep grades. To accommodate the tight alignment, the leading truck had radial axleboxes and the middle coupled axle's wheels were flangeless. Despite the impediments, business was described as "heavy and profitable"in 1912.
