Barranquilla Railway & Power Co 4-4-0 Locomotives in Colombia

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 10 (Locobase 12247)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Volume 21, p. 124. Works number was 15765 in February 1898.

Locobase is not sure what to make of the disparity between the specifications and Gene Connelly's Baldwin list. Both refer to a Vauclain compound design, but Connelly shows this engine to be a duplicate of the Mogul described in Locobase 12212. The specs show an Eight-wheeler as described in the specifications.
