Data from DeGolyer, Volume 72, pp. 30. Works number was 57897 in July 1924.
Small plantation saddle tank that served a sugar mill in Camaguey Province. Senora Aurelia Benabente turned over the first shovelful of dirt to mark the beginning of construction in 1919. The mill opened in 1924, the year the 3 was delivered. The facility's first run (over a 31-day period) generated 4,500 sacks of sugar at 13 lb per bag.
Central Siboney is the only sugar central in Camaguey Province that did not undergo a name change after the 1959 revolution.
