This oil-burning plantation six-coupled was bought for Santa Ana Sugar by its holding company, the West India Sugar Finance Corporation. A June 1924 "Hereafter" note in the specifications said that future engines were to be fitted with Walschaert outside constant-lead radial valve gear.
