Central Jagueyal 2-4-0 Locomotives in Cuba

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 4 (Locobase 14015)

Data from DeGolyer, Volume 44, p. 260. Works number 38850 in November 1912.

This plantation six-wheeler bulked a little larger than most of the other 2-4-0s to be found in the Caribbean and Central America. Its role was the same, however: move the cane cars to the mills and return the empties. Repeat this for decades for the CJ in Matanzas Province.
