Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University, Volume 54, pp.34+.
Obviously, traveling with enough water was an important consideration in designing this saddle tank. In addition to the 1,200 US gallon (4,500 litre) tank on the boiler, the engine trailed a relatively large tender that packed not only 2,500 gallons (9,395 liters) of water but also the coal or wood (three cords)
