G Fernandez

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 3 (Locobase 13747)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines, as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University, Volume 36, p. 207. Works number was 354710 in November 1910.

Locobase can only determine from the specs that this Mogul was one of their "plantation specialties". That is, the company had several designs for locomotives of this size and intended for sugar-plantation work. Bought through Krajewski-Pesant, a well-known dealer, the 3 is identical in almost every detail to the 1904 Guatemala Central 2-6-0 shown in Locobase 13622.
