Class 15 (Locobase 12097)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Vol 19, p. 63 Works numbers were 13860 in December 1893 and 14090-14091 in October 1894.

Small for the 3'-gauge, these Consolidations had fewer tubes of larger diameter than many larger such engines. Their specification included the ability to tackle 4 1/2% grades and negotiate curves of 75 metres (246 ft or 15 1/4 degrees.

The FCU de C eventually formed part of the Cuban Central Railways system, at which point this trio was renumbered. Fully 60 years after the locomotives were delivered, 05 was sold to the United of Havana.
