United Railways of Havana 4-6-0 Locomotives in Cuba

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 54 (Locobase 13170)

Data from DeGolyer, Volume 30, p. 280. Works numbers were 31816-31817, 31824, and 31834 in September 1907

The Cuban Central had bought a big batch of these Ten-wheelers a few years earlier (Locobase 10981), but had fitted them with smaller drivers. Otherwise that design and this United Railways quartet were identical.
