Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class unknown (Locobase 12086)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Vol 19, p. 36 and p. 168. Works number was 13808 in October 1893, 13094 in December; 14093, 14095 in September 1894, 14125 in October.

Caribbean brokers procured several little tank locomotives of the same design for plantations in the Dominican Republic. The earliest in this list was delivered to Estate La Fe as Juanita. Estate Cristobal took the December 1893 engine, but didn't name it, and Estate San Isidro bought the September 1894 product, naming it Frank.

14095 was sold to Harrison & Wolfe, who delivered it to Samana Bay Fruit Company, also of Santo Domingo, as their #1.

Leony & Dominguez secured 14125 for Ingenio San Luis in Cuba, which named it San Luis. That locomotive was sold in 1939 to the Zama Sugar Company, which operated it as #2; it was scrapped in 1955.
