Ingenio Santa Fe 2-4-0 Locomotives in the Dominican_Republic

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class Macoris, Ynocencia (Locobase 14008)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Volume 44, p 240 and Vol 54, p. 221. Works numbers were 40372 in August 1913 and 42481 in September 1915.

After ordering the two Moguls shown in Locobase 13859, Bartram Brothers chose the smaller plantation six-wheeler described here. Able to burn both coal and wood, the 8 and 10 conformed to a typical "off the shelf" Baldwin design.
