Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University, Volume 63, p. 32. Works number was 47490 in December 1917; 47608-47610, 47645-47646, 47670-47683, 47729 in January 1918; 47780-47793, 47854-47862, 47910-47913, 47934-47939 in February; 48005-48009, 48051-48052 in March.
Many of the railways in the British Empire benefited from the wartime largesse of the Briths War Mission in 1917-1918. In fulfilling the relatively large order of medium-sized Ten-wheelers, Baldwin seems to have offered, and had accepted, the superheated design recently delivered to the Escanaba & Lake Superior in February 1917 (Locobase 13810).
