Class F1/Vk6 (Locobase 20981)

Data from data table entry "F1, Vk6 Pyorasto 0-4-4-T" supplied by Teemu Koivumaki in a 20 January 2022 email that supplied much of the detail in this entry. Works numbers were 1023-1024 in 1897.

The Swiss builder supplied eight Forney-type tank locomotives to three different Finnish railways. These were the only 0-4-4Ts to enter Finnish service. A quartet of Finnish State engines appear in Locobase 20979, an additional pair sent to the Porvoo-Kerava are found in 20980.

Both P-K Forneys went out of service in February and March 1935, respectively.
