This quintet originally served a secondary line between the Rhone and the Loire. Although most of the class was scrapped after the Trambouze closed, #3 (works #2503) wound up in the hands of the l'Association du Chemin de fer de la Seudre, which reopened a museum line between Saujon and La Tremblade. This line runs for 21 km (13 miles) south from the Biscay port of La Rochelle.
