SNCF 0-6-0 Locomotives in France

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 3 AT (Locobase 6168)

Data from US Military Railway Service Equipment Data Book for French Locomotives supplied by Allen Stanley in March 2004 from his extensive Rail Data Exchange.

For a long time, Locobase could not place this locomotive. A later locomotive, described in Locobase 9144, has identical data. Built for the series of local rail lines laid out in France in the 1870s and 1880s, such locomotives served both freight and passenger trains.
