Class unknown (Locobase 7428)

Data from Titre Exposition universelle internationale de 1889 a Paris. Rapports du jury internationale. Auteur - Volume France. Ministere du Commerce, de l'industrie. Picard, Alfred, ed. Volume Groupe VI - -Outillage et precedes des industries mecaniques. Electricite (5e partie) Classes 60 a 63. Rapport sur le materiel des chemins de fer. p. 302([] (accessed 1 September 2005).

A small, but puissant, radial tank rated to pull 120 tonnes up 1 1/2% grades and around 200 meter (656 feet or 8 3/4 degree) curves. Indeed, such was the play built into the design that the engine could negotiate 50 meter (164 foot) curves or 35 degrees. A slight discrepancy - the table gives the valve motion as Allan, but the Jury's report credits it with Stephenson gear.
