Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 1/136 (Locobase 11296)

Data from August Perdonnet et Camille Polonceau, Nouveau Portefeuille de L'Ingenieur des Chemins de Fer, Tome Second (Paris: Librairie Scientifique, Industrielle et Agricole, 1866), pp. 524. Works numbers were 59-64 in 1854.

See also Locobase 621, which has somewhat different data from an earlier Perdonnet work. Whchever version the reader chooses, both show the tall drivers that signified an express-passenger engine. These engines shared many of the same dimensions as the 158 class including the same tube count.
