Etat 2-6-0 Locomotives in France

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 130-601 (Locobase 6064)

Data from I N Jevica's [link] (visited 29 May 2004); and "Les 130 de l'Etat"in Roland Arzul website at [link], last accessed 13 July 2019.

These were conversions of Ouest 1904-series 0-6-0 locomotives. Its profile showed widely spaced axles, Belpaire firebox, steam dome over the first coupled axle, sand dome over the second axle. The second axle was the driven one and had the outside Stephenson link motion in full view.

Steam pipes from the dome to the cylinders were carried outside of the boiler jacket.
