Class 1 (Locobase 6222)

Data from [link] (10 July 2004). Corpet works #1097

This locomotive went into service on the Soissons-Rethel metre-gauge line. Later it was used to transfer standard-gauge freight cars on special trucks between Guignicourt and Evergnicourt to serve the paper factories of Navarre. Beginning in 1961, #1 was part of the collection of a museum in Verneuil in the Marne district.

On 14 April 1971, the Chemin de Fer Baie Somme association bought #1, but restoration didn't begin until 1989. After its 1992 re-entry, the little Mogul tank continued to serve the CFBS and as of 2004 it still operated on this museum road.
