Class E-327 (Locobase 5101)

Data from [link] -- visited 14 August 2002). See also [link] . Works numbers 3581-3587.

Tidy tank with Belpaire boiler and large-diameter tubes. The latter most likely were Serve tubes with internal fins. Probably a repeat order of five Franco-Belge engines delivered to the Network in 1904 (builders # 1443-7). All carried on until 1968. In that year, 10 of the 12 engines were scrapped; one went to a museum. E-327 was eventually declared a historic monument, preserved, and refitted in 1993.

According to the Blonay -Chamby Museum website , this class had a maximum speed of 55 km/h (34 mph).
