Dortmund Kleinbahn 0-10-0 Locomotives in Germany

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class Westfalen (Locobase 6387)

Data from [link], a collection of reports in German that includes a summary of the locomotives operated by the Dortmund Harbor and Dortmund shortline systems. The cylinder stroke is estimated as the account's table is lacking that information, for some reason.

These two freight sloggers were Hohenzollern's 2000 and 2001 and went into service on the hilly Ruppen-Schweren section. At the time, these were the builder's largest locomotives. GBAG bought 2 in 1913 (3130-3131) and FHKL took delivery of 1 (3200) in the same year.
