Westfalische Landes EB 0-10-0 Locomotives in Germany

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class unknown (Locobase 10559)

Data from "'Decapod' Tank Locomotive, Westphalian Railway," The Locomotive Magazine, Vol XII (15 June 1906), p.90.

The WLEB penetrated some pretty rugged terrain that the LM report described as "...abounding in sharp curves and gradients as steep as 1 in 50." Whew! So the goal was to put as much adhesive authority under a moderately sized boiler as possible while allowing later play in both end axles.
