Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 1 (Locobase 8544)

Data from the the Oekoven Feldbahn Museum website ([link], last accessed 7 July 2007).

These two little tanks went from the O & K works (works #11664-1665) to the AG fnr Zellstoff- & Papierfabrikation Aschaffenburg in Berlin. According to the Oekoven Feldbahn Museum website, the locomotives worked on the huge wood-piles for decades. In 1948, they were overhauled and fitted with new copper fireboxes, staybolts, firetubes, and lagging.

The museum example (11664), nicknamed "Susi", was preserved from scrapping and eventually wound up at the FWM.
