Kopka says this little tank engine ran on Spremberg's municipal railway from its introduction to 1956. By then it had been redesignated 99.5001 on the Bundesbahn. Then it went to Nordhausen and served the German Federal Armed Forces and other enterprises. The former Spremberger was retired in 1966. It later reappeared on the Harzer Schmalspur Bahn roster.
