Anschlussbahn Vereinigte Ville 0-8-0 Locomotives in Germany

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 10-14 (Locobase 6544)

Data from [] (accessed 26 May 2005).

This entry actually represents three slightly different subclasses that were delivered to the Villebahn over an 8-year period. The specifications refer to the last 2, but the others were not significantly different.

3 (later 10) came first in 1909 (works #9300) and had a heating surface measured at 109.76 sq m (1,181 sq ft). It carried 5 cubic meters of water (1,320 US gallons).

4 & 5 (later 11-12) (works #10981 in 1911 and 12320 in 1913) had the larger water tanks of the later loks. Compared to the last two, heating surface came in at 5/hundredths of a cubic meter less (109.55 sq m / 1,168 sq ft).

8-9 (later 14-15) (works #14291 in 1916 and 15186 in 1917) were the last pair.

All were later renumbered 333-337 by the Rheinische Braunkohlenwerke AG.
